Adoration
Jesus, take a moment here in the middle of your day to simply notice His presence. You don't need anything fancy—just bring your attention to who He is. Think about His faithfulness so far today. Maybe it's the way He's held you through the morning, or the small kindnesses you've witnessed. As the Psalmist reminds us, "Your mercy, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds" (Psalm 36:5, ESV). Talk to Him about what draws you most—His patience with you, His strength, His quiet presence that's been there all along.
You might simply say His name and let that be enough. Or tell Him what you love about Him—maybe His steadiness, His gentleness, or the way He never leaves. There's no performance here, just you and Jesus in the middle of your ordinary day, acknowledging that He's worthy of your attention and gratitude.

Confession
Here's where you get honest, and you can do that because Jesus already knows. Bring the small frustrations of your morning, the unkind word you spoke, the way you rushed past someone, the anxious thought that's lingered. Or maybe there's something deeper—a way you've turned from Him, even just slightly. The good news is that confession isn't about earning back His love; it's about clearing the air between you two. As John writes, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, ESV).
You don't need a long list. Just tell Jesus what weighs on you, what you've done or failed to do, what you're sorry for. Let Him meet you there with the forgiveness that's already yours. Feel the lightness that comes when you stop carrying it alone.

Thanksgiving
The middle of the day is a perfect time to notice what you might otherwise miss. What has Jesus done for you—not just the big moments, but today? A warm cup of coffee, a text from a friend, a task that went better than expected, breath in your lungs. As Paul reminds us, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, ESV).
Spend a few moments naming these small and large gifts. Thank Him for provision, for people who care about you, for another day to walk with Him. Thanksgiving opens your eyes to see how present He really is in your everyday life.

My Concerns
Now bring your needs and the needs of those you love to Jesus. What weighs on your heart right now? What do you need Him to do, to show you, to carry with you through the rest of your day? The invitation here is simple: ask. Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find" (Matthew 7:7, ESV).
Talk to Him about your worries, your hopes, the people you're carrying in your heart, the decisions before you. Bring it all. Then—and this is important—let yourself trust that He hears you. You don't need the answer right now; you just need to know that He's listening. Ask Him for wisdom, for peace, for the strength to move through the rest of your day with Him at your side.
